AUSTIN, Texas - The University of Texas men's cross country team will compete in the Grass Routes Grand Prix Friday at 8:15 p.m. at the Morris Williams Golf Course in Austin.

The race will be an 8K with the University of Texas-Arlington, Concordia, Dallas Baptist, Midwestern State, Houston, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi and Texas Tech all scheduled to join the Longhorns.

Texas enters the race ranked 24^{th nationally and second in the south central region. Texas A&M-Corpus Christi is ranked sixth in the region while Houston stands at ninth. Texas Tech is ranked 15th in the Mountain region.}

It will be the first action for the Longhorns since Sept. 1 when they defeated the University of Texas at San Antonio 26-29 in a dual meet format.
