Men's Cross Country ranked No. 2 in USTFCCCA South Central Region Poll

AUSTIN, Texas - The University of Texas Men's Cross Country team is ranked No. 2 in the South Central Region in the first edition of the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association's weekly regional rankings, the USTFCCCA announced Monday. The organization will release its first national poll of the 2011 season on Tuesday, Sept. 13. Arkansas holds the top spot in the regional poll, while the Longhorns are followed in the top five of the rankings by Texas A&M, Lamar and UTSA. The Longhorns opened their season Sept. 1 with a dual-meet victory at UTSA. Texas placed three runners in the top five, including sophomore Ryan Dohner who claimed the individual title.
