AUSTIN, Texas -- In its first of four home outdoor meets during the 2006 season, Texas collected 11 NCAA regional-qualifying marks and nine victories Saturday at the Texas Invitational at UT's Mike A. Griffin's mark of 10.42 also was good for a NCAA regional mark. Boles also shattered his personal best in the 200 meters, winning the event in 21.06, good for another NCAA regional-qualifying mark.
Robison set a new personal best in the discus with a toss of 190-1, eclipsing the NCAA regional mark by over six meters to capture the event. Sophomore Derek Randall (Beeville, Texas) took second with a NCAA regional-qualifying mark of 184-2. Robison also claimed the shot put with a NCAA regional-qualifying mark of 62-1.75.

Other top Longhorn finishes included a second-place showing in the 800 meters from senior Ryan Ponsonby (Denton, Texas) and a second-place finish in the long jump by senior Ronald Hill (Walnut, Calif.). Sophomore John Rouse (Kaufman, Texas) added a third-place finish in the hammer throw.
