ESPN2 to broadcast NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships highlights
University of Texas track and field enthusiasts will have the opportunity to watch the 2007 NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships as the highlights of the indoor championship will be broadcast on Tuesday, March 13 at 1:30 pm (CT). The University of Texas men's track and field team finished in a program-best, third-place (34 points) behind two individual national champions in senior heptathlete Donovan Kilmartin (Eagle, Idaho) and junior miler Leo Manzano (Marble Falls, Texas), and one NCAA runner-up in long jumper Trey Hardee (Birmingham, Ala). A total of six student-athletes brought home seven All-American honors, including senior high jumper Andra Manson (Brenham, Texas) and the distance medley relay team of seniors Darren Brown (Spring, Texas) and Hamza Deyaf (Plano, Texas), and juniors Jacob Hernandez and Manzano. UT opens the outdoor season at the Hurricane Invitational from Friday to Saturday, March 16-17 in Miami, Fla. Complete results will be available at the conclusion of the each day of the multi-day meet.
