Indoor Big 12 Championships streamed live on Big12sports.com

AUSTIN, Texas -- The Big 12 Conference announced on Tuesday that both days of the Big 12 Indoor Track & Field Championships will be streamed live on its website Big12sports.com. The two-day meet will take place at the Gilliam Indoor Stadium in College Station, Texas all day on Friday and Saturday. The meet begins Friday at 11 a.m. with the women's pentathlon and men's heptathlon leading off the weekend. The first running event will be the mile at 3 p.m. while the field events start at 4 p.m. with the weight throw. Other running events on Friday include the 60m hurdles semifinals, 60m dash semifinals, 600y run prelims, 400m dash prelims, 1,000m run prelims, 800m run prelims, 200m dash prelims, 5,000m run finals and DMR finals. The other two field events taking place on Friday are the pole vault and long jump. Saturday's action begins at 3 p.m. as the last three events of the men's heptathlon will take place along with the start of the running events and field events. The field events showcased on Saturday include the shot put, high jump and triple jump. The running events will include the finals of all the events that ran prelims on Friday as well as the 3,000m run and 4x400m relay. The meet will conclude with an awards ceremony on Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
