TH: Winning Olympic gold.
DK: Winning Olympic gold.
Why Texas?
TH: Better opportunity. I thought I could benefit athletically, socially and post-collegiately.
DK: It has the best combination of academics, athletics and climate.
What other sport would you be doing if you weren't running track?
TH: Maybe basketball (Trey is 6'5").
DK: I had a try-out with the San Diego Padres, so probably baseball.
What kind of jobs have you held?
TH: Worked at Abercrombie & Fitch; cook at a pizza place for four years; repaired and sold lawnmowers
DK: Coaching summer track when I was in high school.
Between the two of you, who'd win at bowling/golf?
TH: I don't think either one of us does much besides track. But give us both a week of practice and we could settle it.
DK: He'd probably win at golf. I'm good off the tee, but my short game is pathetic. I'd definitely take him in bowling.
