Texas is ranked second overall with 14 teams in the top 15. Other ranked sports include: Men's Track & Field (2), Football (2), Baseball (3), Men's Cross Country (3), Women's Swimming (4), Softball (5), Women's Track & Field (5), Volleyball (7), Men's Swimming (7), Men's Tennis (9), Women's Soccer (9), Women's Tennis (10), Men's Basketball (10) and Men's Golf (13).

Texas earned the No. 2 ranking through top-15 team finishes from 2005-07 and a STACK factor of 156 (with the highest listed ranking at 168). The Longhorns' track program was one of only six teams to finish in the top 15 in the last three seasons. The cross country group was one of only seven teams to place in the top 15 from 2004-06.

The Longhorns can be seen this weekend at the Tyson Invitational at the Randal Tyson Track Center on the campus of the University of Arkansas from Friday-Saturday, Feb. 15-16.
