NOTRE DAME, Ind. - Two Men's Track & Field athletes competed on Saturday at the Alex Wilson Invitational, a last chance meet hosted by Notre Dame.

Freshman Kyle Thompson ran the 800m on Saturday. In a fast field, Thompson finished 18th overall with a time of 1:50.10. Six of the seven runners in Thompson's heat finished in the top 20. There were a total of 47 runners competing in the race.

Junior Patrick McGregor ran the mile and came in 16th overall. He clocked a time of 4:07.38, one second off his time last week at the Big 12 Championships.

Next up for the Longhorns will be a trip to Nampa, Idaho for the NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships March 9-10.
