Earned a pair of All-Big 12 honors and just missed a trip to the NCAA Championships ... placed third (61-5/18.72m) in the shot put and eighth (PR of 54-11.25/16.74m) in the weight throw at the Big 12 Championships ... his weight-throw performance at the conference meet ranks 10th on the UT all-time performers list ... recorded a personal-best throw of 61-9 (18.82m) in the shot put at the LSU NCAA Indoor Qualifier ... that mark placed him ninth on the school's all-time performers list and was 19th on the NCAA season performers list ... missed advancing to the national meet by less than five inches (top 16 made the field) ... third in the shot put with a throw of 60-6.75 (18.46m) at the Tyson Invitational ... threw the shot put 58-6.5 (17.84m) and the weight throw 51-11.25 (15.83m) at the Razorback Team Invitational ... finished second in the shot put (57-5.75/17.52m) and fifth in the weight throw (49-3.00/15.01m) at the Arkansas Dual Meet.
