Earned runner-up honors in the weight throw (60-6.50) at the conference meet ... secured all-league honors for that effort ... posted a season-best mark of 60-10 in the weight throw at the JD Martin/Oklahoma Invitational.

Outdoor (Freshman):
Advanced to the NCAA West Regionals in the discus, finishing 35th with a toss of 160-4 (48.87m) ... set the school record in the discus by winning the `B' section in the Texas Relay with a throw of 184-8s ... won the SLC individual discus title with his throw of 180-0.
Indoor (Freshman):
Finished 10th in the shot put at the Southland Conference Championships with a throw of 48-1.75 ... posted a season-best toss of 49-9.75 in the shot put at the Sooner Invitational.
