Men's Tennis preview: ITA National Intercollegiate Indoor Championships, Southwest Shootout
Nov. 2, 2011
WHAT: Texas’ Chris Camillone and David Holiner will compete in the main doubles draw at the ITA National Intercollegiate Indoor Championships, one of three national championship events on the college tennis calendar. The duo qualified for the event last month when it defeated teammates Daniel Whitehead and Ben Chen in the finals of the ITA Texas Regional Championships.
The Horns are accustomed to solid doubles play at the ITA National Intercollegiate Indoors. Texas-Exes Ed Corrie and Jean Andersen reached the doubles semifinals last season, and former Longhorns Kellen Damico and Luis Diaz Barriga reached the doubles semifinals in 2007.
The remainder of the team is set to compete at the Southwest Shootout hosted by TCU.
