Gubser, Helgeson to begin play at ITA All-American Championships
TULSA, Okla. -- University of Texas senior Roger Gubser (Laredo, Texas) and sophomore All-American Travis Helgeson (Overland Park, Kan.) will make their first career main-draw appearances Thursday at the Polo Ralph Lauren ITA All-American Championships at the Case Tennis Center. Gubser will meet Virginia's 10th seeded Somdev Devvarman at 10 a.m. Central, while Helgeson will take on Florida State's Jonathas Sucupira at noon. Sucupira earned his berth in the tournament by winning three matches in the qualifying round.
