WHAT: The ITA All-American Championship, one of three national championship events on the college tennis schedule
WHEN: Friday, Oct. 3 - Sunday, Oct. 5 - pre-qualifying singles round - players must win four matches to advance to the qualifying singles round, which begins Monday, Oct. 6
WHERE: Michael Case Tennis Center - Tulsa, Okla.
WHO: Texas juniors Rook Schellenberg, Josh Zavala and Jon Wiegand and senior Jonah Kane-West will take part in the pre-qualifying singles draw. Schellenberg will take on Ohio State's Mike O'Connell on Friday at 9 a.m., and Kane-West will take on LSU's Neal Skupski at 12:30 p.m.
Wiegand has a first-round bye and will meet either Old Dominion's Yakov Diskin or Kentucky's Shane Collins on Saturday. Zavala also has a first-round bye and will take on either Sacramento State's Jason Smith or Florida's Eric Corace on Saturday.
LAST TIME OUT: Texas was eliminated from the H-E-B Baylor Invitational on the opening day of play on Friday, Sept. 26. Junior Olivier Sajous picked up a singles win over Texas Tech's Joe Hattrup, and Zavala and sophomore Ed Corrie added a doubles victory.
