He is still adjusting to college. He wants to do well this weekend, and I told him he needs to relax and just play. I think he’s excited about playing in his first college tournament. He will continue to improve as the year goes on. On Jean Andersen: Jean played a lot this summer and has a semester of college under his belt now. I think he knows what to expect. He can be one of the better players in college tennis. He’s excited and ready to go. This will be a good test for him this weekend.
On Vasko Mladenov: Vasko had a good freshman year and won a lot of matches for us. He had to adjust and learn a lot about being in college and being far away from home. He is a much-improved player this year. I expect him to have a really good fall. On Ed Corrie: Ed has been a solid performer for us for three years. I expect him to do what he does every year, which is get better, get stronger and improve his game like he has his first three years. He will be an All-America candidate in singles and doubles for us. THE 2010-11 LONGHORNS: Texas returns four regular singles starters from the 2009-10 squad that won the Big 12 regular season and tournament titles and reached the round of 16 for a fifth consecutive year at the NCAA Championships.
