Men's Tennis selected as a 2012 ITA All-Academic Team

AUSTIN, Texas -- The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) has announced The University of Texas men's tennis program's selection as an ITA All-Academic Team for the 2011-12 season. Additionally, rising seniors Alex Hilliard and Chris Camillone along with rising sophomore Soren Hess-Olesen have been named ITA Scholar-Athletes for the 2011-12 season. The ITA All-Academic Team award is open to any ITA program that has a cumulative team grade-point average of 3.20 or better. All eligible student-athletes who competed in one or more varsity matches averaged into the GPA for the academic year. Student-athletes may earn ITA Scholar-Athlete status by earning a varsity letter, maintaining a minimum 3.50 GPA for the academic year and by being enrolled at their current institution for at least two semesters.
