AUSTIN, Texas -- The University of Texas men's tennis program is inviting all former UT men's tennis letterwinners to its "Alumni Day", slated for Saturday, March 25 at the Penick-Allison Tennis Center.
Lunch will be served at the courts beginning at noon before Texas' first match of the day against Notre Dame, which is scheduled for 1 p.m. CST. The Longhorns also will take on Texas Southern at 6 p.m. CST.
Texas Moves to No. 11
Texas continued its steady, season-long climb up the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) rankings this week, coming in at No. 11 in the rankings released on Tuesday. The Longhorns have moved up in each subsequent ranking after beginning the season at No. 22.
Three teams ranked ahead of Texas remain on the Longhorns' schedule. UT will host No. 3 Illinois on Friday, March 10 and No. 2 Pepperdine on Friday, April 14 before heading to Waco to meet No. 9 Baylor on Wednesday, April 19.
Three Longhorns Featured in ITA Top 30
Three Longhorns remain in the top 30 of the ITA singles rankings after beginning the season in solid fashion.
Sophomore All-American Travis Helgeson (Overland Park, Kan.) ranks 15th nationally, while seniors Callum Beale (Adelaide, Australia) and Roger Gubser (Laredo, Texas) come in at Nos. 23 and 30, respectively.
The rankings serve as career highs for each player.

Below is a recap of the men's tennis schedule changes implemented after inclement weather wiped out three matches.
UT-Arlington: Previously scheduled for Feb. 18; Rescheduled for Friday, March 3 at 6 p.m. in Austin
SMU: Previously scheduled for Feb. 19; Rescheduled for Sunday, March 26 at 4 p.m. in Austin
Pepperdine: Previously scheduled for Feb. 24, Rescheduled for Friday, April 14 at 6 p.m. in Austin
