Men's Tennis match against Pepperdine rescheduled for April 14
AUSTIN, Texas -- The persistent damp and dreary weather conditions that have plagued Central Texas since last week have caused the postponement of a third consecutive University of Texas men's tennis match.
With showers forecasted to arrive in Austin later this week, the Texas-Pepperdine men's tennis match previously scheduled for Friday, Feb. 24 at UT's Penick-Allison Tennis Center has been postponed to Friday, April 14 at 6 p.m. CST.
Pepperdine is ranked No. 2 in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) rankings released this afternoon, while Texas is ranked No. 12.
The Texas-Tulsa match scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 25 in Austin is still on schedule for a 6 p.m. CST start. The match likely will be played on Sunday, Feb. 26 should the unfavorable playing conditions persist on Saturday.
