Schedule altered for ITA Kick-Off Weekend matches

AUSTIN, Texas -- The schedule for the ITA Kick-Off Weekend matches on Saturday, Jan. 30 at UT's Penick-Allison Tennis Center has been altered due to unfavorable playing conditions forecasted for Saturday morning. No. 8 Texas will take on Middle Tennessee State on Saturday at 1 p.m. Central, one hour earlier from the previously-scheduled 2 p.m. first serve. In addition, the Texas Tech-California match that had been scheduled to begin Saturday at 11 a.m. also will begin at 1 p.m. Central. The Texas-Middle Tennessee State match will be contested on the six courts north of the grandstand at Penick-Allison, while the Texas Tech-California match will be played on the six courts south of the grandstand. The start times for Sunday's matches remain as scheduled. The losing teams in Saturday's matches will go head-to-head on Sunday at 11 a.m., and the winners of Saturday's matches will meet on Sunday at 2 p.m. ITA Kick-Off Weekend (Penick-Allison Tennis Center) Sunday, Jan. 31
