Singles Draw | Doubles Draw
FLUSHING, N.Y. - Less than 24 hours after Chris Camillone and David Holiner were chosen as alternates in the doubles draw of the 2012 USTA/ITA National Indoor Intercollegiate Championships, the eighth-ranked team advanced to the tournament's quarterfinal by defeating North Florida's Moritz Buerchner and Norbert Nemcsek, 8-6.
With the win, Camillone and Holiner improved to 8-2 during the fall season and will play No. 16 Henrique Cunha and Raphael Hemmeler of Duke on Friday.
Senior Daniel Whitehead, who qualified for the singles draw of the National Indoors after winning the USTA/ITA Texas Regionals, was defeated in the round of 32 by Ben McLachlan (Cal) - 6-2, 6-1.
