• Handed Rice's Ralph Knupfer a 6-4, 6-2 defeat in UT's 4-0 win over Rice in the NCAA round of 32
• Defeated Texas A&M's by a 6-4, 6-4 count in UT's 4-3 win over the Aggies that clinched a share of the Big 12 regular season title
• Defeated Baylor's David Galic by a 6-1, 6-4 count in Texas' 4-3 win over the Bears in Waco
• Defeated Rice's Knupfer by a 6-1, 6-4 count in UT's 4-3 regular-season win over the Owls in Houston
• Opened the dual-match season with consecutive victories over SMU's Alex Skrypko, Clemson's Kevin Fleck, Arkansas' Chris Nott, UTSA's Rodrigo Morgado and UT-Arlington's David Costa
