WHAT: The Texas men's swimming and diving team will host its annual Orange-White intrasquad meet.

THE 2012-13 LONGHORNS: Texas returns 29 letterwinners from the 2011-12 squad that won the Big 12 Championship and placed second at the NCAA Championships. Texas has finished no worse than second place at the last five NCAA Championship meets.
UT features three seniors who have won NCAA individual titles in their time on the Forty Acres. Austin Surhoff won the 200 individual medley as a freshman, and Michael McBroom claimed the 1,650 freestyle as a sophomore after transferring to UT from Minnesota. Dax Hill claimed the 200 freestyle last season at the NCAA Championships.
Additionally, sophomores Kip Darmody and Clay Youngquist have helped the Horns to NCAA titles in relay events. Darmody and Youngquist teamed up with Hill and former Longhorn Neil Caskey to win the 800 freestyle relay at the 2012 NCAA Championships. Youngquist joined Surhoff, Hill and former Longhorn Jimmy Feigen to claim the 2012 NCAA title in the 400 freestyle relay.
Head coach Eddie Reese begins his 35th season with the Longhorns. Under his guidance, Texas has secured top-three finishes in 27 of 34 NCAA Championship meets. Assistant coach Kris Kubik returns for his 30th season, and diving coach Matt Scoggin, a former Longhorn diver, returns for his 19th season on Reese's coaching staff.
