Dumais advances to three-meter synchro finals at AT&T National Diving Championships

COLLEGE STATION, Texas -- Texas-Ex Troy Dumais earned the first qualifying spot for Sunday's three-meter synchronized diving finals Tuesday on the opening day of the 2010 AT&T National Diving Championships at Texas A&M's Student Rec Center Natatorium. Dumais and his synchronized diving partner totaled 438.81 points, out-distancing their nearest competitors by over 85 points. They scored their highest mark of 87.42 points on their third dive, a forward three-and-a-half somersault that garnered two perfect scores from the 11 judges. The 2010 AT&T National Diving Championships continue Wednesday in College Station.
