Men's Swimming and Diving completes day two of NCAA Zone D Diving Meet
AUSTIN, Texas -- UT freshman Mike Wong placed second in the three-meter event and junior Brian Smith added a fifth-place finish as Texas wrapped up the second day of competition at the NCAA Zone "D" Diving Meet at UT's Lee and Joe Jamail Texas Swimming Center. Wong (Cerritos, Calif.), who secured his NCAA Championships berth in Friday's one-meter event, took second with a total of 665.70. Smith (Carrollton, Texas) took fifth with a total of 636.25. The final day of the NCAA Zone "D" Diving Meet gets underway on Sunday at 10 a.m. with the women's platform competition. The men's competition kicks off at 12:45 p.m.
