Livingston advances to platform semifinals at USA Diving Winter Nationals

IOWA CITY, Iowa – Texas junior diver Drew Livingston took fourth place in the men’s platform diving preliminary round and punched a spot for Sunday’s semifinals on Friday at the 2011 USA Diving Winter National Championships at The University of Iowa. Livingston (The Woodlands, Texas) totaled 486.90 points in the platform preliminary round. He registered 97.35 points on his third dive, a back three-and-a-half somersault. Livingston is set to compete in Saturday’s three-meter diving finals alongside Texas-Ex and three-time U.S. Olympian Troy Dumais. The three-meter finals will begin at noon Central.
