AS A JUNIOR (2011-12)
• Ended up fourth in both the 200 backstroke (1:46.30) and 200 IM (1:46.98) at the Big 12 Championships
• Won the 200 IM with a time of 1:46.11 at the American Short Course
• During the Texas Invitational, he finished 13th in the 200 backstroke (1:47.28), 15th in the 200 IM (1:50.76), 16th in the 400 IM (3:59.04) and 27th in the 200 breaststroke (2:04.72)
• Placed second in the 200 breaststroke (2:06.40) and 200 IM (1:51.42) while claiming ninth in the 200 backstroke (1:50.26) at the Southwest Collegiate Plunge
• Took fifth versus Arizona in the 400 medley relay witha time of 3:24.63 as he led off the race

• Won the 400 IM "C" final (3:52.02) and completed a 200 backstroke exhibition swim (1:48.12) at the Big 12 Championships
