Spieth finishes PGA Tour Q-School Second Stage tied for 26th place

Sophomore All-American Jordan Spieth's first attempt at Q-School comes to an end Friday afternoon.

McKINNEY, Texas -- Sophomore All-American Jordan Spieth concluded PGA Tour Q-School Second Stage with a 1-under-par 71 Friday afternoon for a four-round total of 288 9-8) at TPC Craig Ranch. 

Spieth, the No. 5 collegiate player in the country per the most recent Golfweek/Sagarin Rankings, finished the event tied for 26th place and three strokes behind the 72-hole cutline.

The top 20 players and ties at Craig Ranch advance to the Final Qualifying Stage from Nov. 28-Dec. 3 in LaQuinta, Calif., to compete for status on the 2013 PGA Tour and Web.com Tour.
