Men's Golf preview: U.S. Collegiate Championship
WHAT: No. 23 Texas returns to the road for the 15-team U.S. Collegiate Championship hosted by Georgia Tech.
WHERE: The Golf Club of Georgia - Alpharetta, Ga.; Lakeside course - par 72, 7,020 yards.
WHEN: The tournament field will play 18 holes each day from Monday, April 9 through Wednesday, April 11.
WHO: The tournament features host Georgia Tech, Texas, Alabama, BYU, Clemson, East Tennessee State, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Georgia State, Oklahoma State, Southern California, TCU, UCLA and Wake Forest.
LAST TIME OUT: Texas placed 12th at 17-over par at the 54-hole National Invitational Tournament in Tucson, Ariz., on April 2 and 3. UT also sent a group to the University of Cincinnati Collegiate Invitational, where the Horns placed second on April 3 with a 14-over 590, finishing out of the lead by one stroke. Keenan claimed medalist honors at seven-under par in the 36-hole event.
