Beginning on the back nine, Stone started off par-bogey-bogey-par before he sank his first of four birdies on No. 14. After a third bogey on No. 17 and second birdie on No. 18, Stone made the turn at 1-over where he remained through 12 holes. On No. 4, his 13th, Stone dropped to even with a third birdie attempt. His final five holes began with three straight pars before a bogey-birdie finish to result in his even 72. Junior Toni Hakula trails Stone by one stroke at 7-over 151 after notching a 74 Saturday afternoon. Hakula had four birdies - all in his final 10 holes - to counter two bogeys and two double bogeys.
