The 2012-13 season marks Jean-Paul Hebert's third as a volunteer assistant coach with The University of Texas Men's Golf team.
A distinguished Texas Ex, Hebert played for Texas from 1990-1994 under Head Coach Jimmy Clayton. Hebert led the Longhorns to four Southwest Conference Championships, as well as a first-place finish the 1994 NCAA Central Regional and a second place finish at the 1994 NCAA Championship in his senior season.
As a junior, Hebert finished second as an individual in the SWC Championship tournament and tied for third place in the NCAA Championship.
While at Texas, Hebert earned All-America honors in three straight seasons. He was also a four-time All-SWC selection before graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications Studies.
Following his collegiate career on the Forty Acres, Hebert competed professionally for eight years until 2002. For the last six years, he has split his time as a teaching professional at The University of Texas Golf Club and as an associate producer for live tournament golf for Golf Channel and CBS.
Hebert currently resides in Austin, Texas.
