Individual Notes
Vince Young
• With 200 rushing yards, Young has 1,050 this season, becoming the first player in NCAA history to rush for more than 1,000 yards and pass for more than 3,000 in the same season.
• Young became the third player in UT history to pass for 3,000 yards in a single season with a total of 3,045 -- the third-highest single-season total in UT history.
• Young became the fifth player to rush for over 100 yards against USC in the last 46 games.
• Young's two fourth-quarter rushing TDs were his 10th and 11th this season and the 36th of his career (T-No. 4 on the UT career list with Steve Worster).
• Young has rushed and thrown for more than 100 yards in a game eight times in his career. Only three other QBs in UT history have accomplished that and each did it only once.
• Young completed his first nine passes of the game, and the last six of the Big 12 Championship game, giving him 15 consecutive, setting a new UT record. Young owned the previous mark of 14 as well.
• Young has totaled at least 250 yards of total offense in 10 of 13 games this season.
• With 200 yards rushing and 267 yards passing Young recorded his second game with at least 200 yards both rushing and passing. The first time Young accomplished this feat was Oct. 29, 2005 at Oklahoma State, recording 267 rushing yards and 239 passing yards.
• Young becomes the first player in NCAA history to rush and pass for at least 200 yards in two games.
• With two fourth-quarter touchdowns, Vince Young has orchestrated six fourth-quarter comebacks in his career.
• Young is now 30-2 as a starter. His .938 winning percentage is the sixth-best in NCAA history.
• Young's 30 completions tie the UT single-game record with Major Applewhite, who did so twice in 1999.

David Thomas
• Thomas set a UT record for most receptions in a game by a tight end with 10.
• Thomas set a new career high with 10 receptions (T-6th on UT Top 10 receptions list).
• Thomas tied his career high in receptions with six in the first half.
• With 88 receiving yards, Thomas has 613 this season, moving him to second on UT's single season TEs list, passing Pat Fitzgerald (545, 1996).
• Thomas has caught at least three passes in six consecutive games and 10 of 13 this season. He has caught at least one pass in 12 of 13.

Ramonce Taylor
• Taylor's second-quarter rushing TD is his 12th this season and the 13th of his career. He has rushed for a TD in five of the last six games.

Billy Pittman
• Pittman has caught at least two passes in nine of 13 games this season.

Limas Sweed
• Sweed set a new season and career high with eight receptions.
• Sweed has caught at least three passes in four consecutive games and six total this season.

Michael Huff
• Huff recovered his second fumble of the season and the third of his career.

David Pino
• Pino's second quarter field goal of 46 yards is a career long. His previous long of 45 yards came this season at Oklahoma State.
• Pino finished the season with 113 points, setting a new UT single-season kick scoring record, breaking Phil Dawson's mark of 108 in 1996.
• Pino's 113 points is the seventh-best overall single-season scoring total.

Michael Griffin
• Griffin's second-quarter interception is his third this season and the fourth of his career.

Selvin Young
• Young's second-quarter rushing TD was his eighth this season and the 18th of his career.

Frank Okam
• Okam's two second-quarter sacks were his first two this season and give him four for his career.
