Texas' enormous locker room facility underwent a major renovation in the summer of 2011 to upgrade its features and to enhance the overall experience for the players as part of a $176.5 million stadium renovation project. The work was completed in August and included installing a state-of-the-art ventilation system, adding a nutrition center, upgrading the players' lounge area and improving the lockers' configuration. One thing that remained was the locker room's centerpiece -- a three-dimensional, lighted 20-foot Longhorn on the ceiling.
