H-E-B is proud to be the presenting sponsor of the continued gameday tradition, H-E-B Tailgater of the Game. Decorate your tailgate, show team spirit, and utilize H-E-B products in a creative way to be considered for this year's competition. The H-E-B Tailgate Crew of judges will be touring around the tailgate areas prior to each home football game judging the tailgating sites very thoroughly. Now it's your turn to take this challenge and get your creative juices flowing!
Winners not only score big-time bragging rights, they'll also get:
- Three finalists will be selected each game and will be awarded a $100 H-E-B gift card.
- The Tailgater of the Game will receive a $500 gift card, premium high-end cooler, stadium-wide announcement, photo on the videoboard at DKR-Texas Memorial Stadium, photo on MackBrown-TexasSports.com and a Tailgater of the Game flag.
H-E-B Tailgater of the Year
At the Texas vs. TCU game on Nov. 22, the Tailgater of the Game winners from the five previous games will compete to be the Tailgater of the Year.
- The H-E-B Tailgater of the Year will win a $2,500 H-E-B gift card, H-E-B products, Longhorns gear, a Tailgater of the Year flag and other great prizes.
H-E-B Tailgater of the Game Home Edition
Can't make it out to the game or want to show your pride during away games? Now you can enter to win H-E-B Tailgater of the Game from home each week of the season. Email TexasTailgate@imgworld.com with a picture of your watch party and why you should be the Tailgater of the Game. Entries must be submitted by 9 a.m. the Monday after each game and must be no longer than 50 words.
- Winners of the H-E-B Tailgater of the Game Home Edition will receive a $100 H-E-B gift card and a Tailgater of the Game yard sign.

Criteria
- Shop at H-E-B and proudly display your H-E-B merchandise at your Longhorns football tailgate area
- Develop unique and inventive ways to use H-E-B products
- Incorporate and display Longhorns pride
Examples
- Decorate vehicle and/or tailgate area with a creative theme
- Create a unique tailgating team name (i.e., Burnt Orange Fan Zone)
- Utilize and present H-E-B products (i.e., H-E-B fully cooked burgers, H-E-B tortilla chips, H-E-B sodas)
- Offer sampling of your H-E-B products
- Music (DJs, live bands)
- Fan interaction (mini football game or a game of washers, etc.)
