1:36 p.m. (13:01 - 4th Q) - Colt McCoy's 432 passing yards rank second on the career list behind Major Applewhite's 473 yards against Washington in 2001.

1:34 p.m. (13:01 - 4th Q) - Jordan Shipley's 273 receiving yards are a school record, topping themark of 242 set by Tony Jones in 1987.

1:14 p.m. (3:11 - 3rd Q) - Today's announced attendance is 101,003. The 58th consecutive sellout at Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium.

1:12 p.m. (3:11 -  3rd Q) - Colt McCoy's 14-yard TD pass to James Kirkendoll was his 15th of the season and the 101st of his career. It was Kirkendoll's second TD reception of the season and the third of his career. It capped a 15-play, 87-yard drive, taking 6:20 off the clock.

12:55 p.m. (11:31 - 3rd Q) - Jordan Shipley has nine receptions for 167 yards. It's the third-highest receiving yardage total for his career. He had 180 against ULM this season and 168 against Oklahoma State last year.

12:35 p.m. (halftime) - Jordan Shipley became the first player in school history to log 70 or more receptions in two or more seasons.

12:34 p.m. (halftime) - Jordan Shipley logged 153 receiving yards in the first half. He passed Quan Cosby (2,598) for third place on the Longhorns' career receiving yardage list with 2,636.

12:13 p.m. (5:29 - 2nd Q) - Cody Johnson's 13-yard TD run was his second of the game, ninth of the season and 21st of his career. It capped an 11-play, 72-yard drive, taking 4:39 off the clock.

11:55 a.m. (12:32 - 2nd Q) - Jordan Shipley caught his 200th career pass, joining Roy Williams and Quan Cosby as the only players in school history to accomplish the feat.

11:25 a.m. - Jordan Shipley picked up one reception on the first drive. He needs three more to become the third player in school history to log 200 career receptions.

11:04 a.m - Texas game captains are #7 Deon Beasley, #71 Chris Hall, #74 Adam Ulatoski and #81 Sam Acho.

10:58 a.m. - With a 64-7 victory over UTEP earlier this season, Texas has won 16 straight non-conference games, which is the third-longest non-conference winning streak in the nation. The streak is the longest in UT history. bettering a 15-game streak from 1945-48.

10:07 a.m. - Texas is off to an 8-0 start for the third time in the Mack Brown era. Prior to Brown's arrival in 1998, the last time Texas registered eight straight wins to open the season was 1983. Texas has opened the year with at least eight straight wins just five times in the last 38 years (1970, 1977, 1983, 2005, 2008) and two of those have come under Brown.
