Public parking, shuttle options for 2009 Texas Football home games
Aug. 25, 2009
• "Huddle Shuttle" information (UT Parking and Transportation Dept.) AUSTIN, Texas -- Texas Longhorns fans are known for coming early. The tailgating and spirited atmosphere that starts outside the stadium inevitably motivates our Texas Football team on the field inside Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium. This year, please remember to arrive well before kickoff to take advantage of public parking areas around the stadium. Garage and surface lot parking is available northeast of the stadium, as well as to the south off San Jacinto and Trinity St. Executive Coach offers "Huddle Shuttle" service to 2009 Texas Football home games for $8 per person, round trip (cash only). No passes or student IDs are accepted. Passengers are issued a round-trip ticket at the pickup location, and are required to present the ticket upon boarding the return shuttle. A season pass good for all home games is available for $45 and is only sold at the first two games.
For those who do arrive early, plan to check out the food court area inside the Red McCombs Red Zone, which opens three hours prior to kickoff.
