Texas-Arkansas State pay-per-view details released
How to order the game beginning Friday, Aug. 31 ----- The Texas-Arkansas State game on Saturday, Sept. 1, at 6 p.m. CT will be televised live on pay-per-view by Big 12 Special Order Sports, FSN Southwest's pay-per-view division. It will be available on participating cable television systems in Texas and Arkansas, and nationwide to satellite dish customers. Suggested retail price is $29.95. Fans should check with their local programming provider for availability in their area. The game is being televised on pay-per-view because it wasn't selected for over-the-air broadcast or cable television coverage. Under conference TV rules, games not picked up for regular television distribution can only be televised live on pay-per-view, giving fans the option to watch a game they otherwise wouldn't be able to see. Participating cable and satellite TV providers will offer the telecast to their customers on a special designated pay-per-view channel. The telecast will not pre-empt FSN Southwest's regularly-scheduled programming. Kevin Eschenfelder (play-by-play), former SMU quarterback Chris Sanders (analyst) and FOX 7 Austin Sports Director Dave Cody (sideline reporter) call the action from Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium in Austin. The game will be replayed on FSN Southwest on Thursday, Sept. 6 at noon CT throughout the network's coverage area (Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, parts of New Mexico).
