Why did you choose to attend the University of Texas?
My mom came here so she’s part of the alumni and Texas just felt like family. It feels like home, and that’s why I came up here.
What are your thoughts on the coaching staff here at Texas?
I love the coaching staff. They’re like father figures to us. They teach us, they mentor us, and so far everything has been going good.
What do you think about Texas’ facilities?
They’re crazy – really nice. Everything is top notch.
What was your senior season of football like?
It was great. I can’t tell you how many sacks I had, but it was really good.
What have you been up to so far this summer?
Working out. That’s all I’ve been doing, just working out. Trying my best to get ready for the season.
How was it meeting your fellow 2012 recruits?
I love these guys. They’re like my brothers, and we have a good connection among us all.
How do you feel about starting your college career at Texas?
I feel great. I feel like I’m going to do a lot of big things here if I go 110% all the time.
What will it be like seeing your name on the back of a Texas jersey?
It’s going to be phenomenal. It’s going to be a crazy sight, but I’ve been waiting for this day since I was little, so I’m ready.
