Update: Aug. 12, 2008

Due to construction in and around Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium, Texas Football's Fan Appreciation Day will now be held in Gregory Gymnasium on the corner of Speedway and 21st St. on UT's campus. The date and time of the event remains Saturday, Aug. 16 at 11 a.m.

While fans await their opportunity to participate, they can take in a bonus opportunity as the Texas women's volleyball team will be practicing during the event.

Due to space limitations at Gregory Gym, those signing autographs will include Longhorns seniors Rashad Bobino, Quan Cosby, Cedric Dockery, Aaron Lewis, Henry Melton, Roy Miller, Brian Orakpo, Ryan Palmer, Nic Redwine, Jordan Shipley, Peter Ullman and Luke Tiemann, QBs Colt McCoy, John Chiles and Sherrod Harris, and head coach Mack Brown.

Fans should enter Gregory through the west entrance off of Speedway where 2,000 numbered wristbands will be distributed beginning at 9 a.m. Those age 16 and over will be required to show a photo ID in order to request autographs and will be limited to two autograph items per person.

The best place for fans to park for the event is the Brazos Garage (BRG) off of MLK Blvd.
