Why did you choose to attend the University of Texas? Well, I've wanted to [attend school] here since I was about six years old. When this opportunity came up, I just couldn't pass it up.
What are your thoughts on the coaching staff here at Texas? I love the coaches. They're all really cool. They show love for you and care for you. They're all really nice guys.
One thing head coach Mack Brown stresses is family. Did you feel that here upon your arrival? Yes. Since my first visit here, when I was a sophomore in high school, I just felt at home.
What do you think about Texas' facilities? They're crazy! I never would've thought they would be like this. I'm just enjoying them all and using as much of them as I can.
What was your senior season of football like? It ended in heartbreak. We lost in the fifth round of playoffs. Things happen, though, and I just started to focus on my career here at Texas.
What have you been up to so far this summer? I've just been working out and trying to prepare for the crazy workouts Coach Wylie is going to have us do.
How was it meeting your fellow 2012 recruits? It was good. I've met them a few times before, but to all be in the same environment is fun. All the guys are really cool, and we get along just fine.
How do you feel about starting your college career at Texas? I feel good. I'm just ready for the season to start. I can't wait.
What will it be like seeing your name on the back of a Texas jersey? That's like creating your own player in the video games. I never thought I would see something like that.
