Sloan Thomas, B.J. Johnson, Michael Huff host football camp for charity

Former Longhorns Sloan Thomas, B.J. Johnson and Michael Huff will host a football camp this Thursday and Friday to benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Austin.

The third annual Texas Premier Football Camp will take place Thursday, July 9, and Friday, July 10, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at St. Michael's Catholic Academy located at 3000 Barton Creek Blvd. in Austin.

The two-day non-contact football camp will be led by Derrick Scott, UT assistant strength and conditioning coach, and former Texas WR Kwame Cavil, who is assistant football coach at St. Michael's. Participants ages 7-18 years old will learn the fundamental skills and drills used in the NFL and will hear from many current Longhorns in the NFL.

Invited guests include the following: Justin Blalock, Atlanta Falcons; Derrick Johnson, Kansas City Chiefs; Bo Scaife, Tennessee Titans; Jonathan Scott, Buffalo Bills; Kasey Studdard, Houston Texans; Roy Williams, Dallas Cowboys; Selvin Young, Denver Broncos and more.
