Hills hosts free Youth Sportsfest in Houston

The community is invited to join former Longhorn and current Pittsburgh Steelers OL Tony Hills and other local sports celebrities at the Tony Hills Youth Sportsfest at 9 a.m. on June 30 at Alief Elsik High School in Houston. The goal of the event is to encourage kids to get physically and academically fit.

A summary of the event is as follows:

8 a.m.: Onsite registration (20 walk-ups accepted/first-come, first served basis)
9 a.m.: FREE youth football and cheer camp with the pros (for grades 1-8; enrollment limited to 150 football and 50 cheer; first-come, first served basis)
Noon: Life skills Q & A with the pros
12:30 p.m.: Awards and autographs (Special awards will be given to kids achieving A/B honor roll; please bring your report card.)
1 p.m.: End of camp

Participants will have opportunities to get autographs and take pictures with the celebrities. Information about the event can be found at www.TonyHills.info.
