Five-year kicker who took over the starting place-kicking job in 2005 ... joined UT as a walk-on in August 2001 ... appeared in 30 career games and was 17-of-22 on FG attempts and 88-of-95 on PATs for 113 points ... the 113 points set a new UT singleseason scoring record for place-kickers ... a majority of those came this season when he connected on 14-of-18 (.777) FGs and 71-of-77 PATs, while appearing in all 13 games ... both the 71 PATs made and 77 attempted are UT single-season records ... kicked in two games and was 0-of-1 on FGs and 2-of-2 on PATs in 2004 ... served as Dusty Mangum's primary backup on FG/PATs the previous three years ... handled UT's kicking duties for the injured Mangum in the final two games of 2003 and was 3-for-3 on FG attempts during that time ... backed up Richmond McGee on kickoffs in 2004 ... shared kickoff duties with Dan Smith and Mangum as a true freshman in 2001 ... earned second-team All-America honors from USA Today as a prep junior ... a solid student who is on pace to graduate in December.

JUNIOR (2004)
Kicked in two games and was 0-of-1 on FGs and 2-of-2 on PATs ... hit both PATs versus North Texas in the season opener ... missed his only FG attempt from 50 yards at Texas Tech.
REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE (2003)
Appeared in seven games as a reserve place-kicker while backing up Dusty Mangum on FG/PATs and Richmond McGee on kickoffs ... earned one of UT's Whatever It Takes (W.I.T.) Awards ... handled the kicking duties for the injured Mangum at Texas A&M and in the Holiday Bowl ... scored on 13-of-14 extra points and made all three of his field goal attempts ... kicked off five times and recorded two touchbacks ... connected on 3-of-3 extra points in the season-opening win against New Mexico State ... made one extra point at Rice and scored two each against Tulane and Baylor ... stepped in for the injured Mangum and made his first career field goal attempt (20 yards) and all six extra point attempts for a career-high nine points at Texas A&M ... converted both extra point attempts and both field goal attempts, including a career-long 39-yarder, versus No. 15 Washington State in the Holiday Bowl ... redshirted in 2002.

Saw action in eight games, including the Holiday Bowl ... kicked off 29 times ... connected on his only two extra point attempts of the season (against Kansas).
HIGH SCHOOL
