· Led UT in receptions in 1964 and 1965

· Led Longhorns in win over Joe Namath-led No. 1-ranked Alabama in the 1965 Orange Bowl
· Drafted by the NFL's New York Jets and played with Namath to upset Baltimore in the AFL's first Super Bowl win
· Earned all-star honors in his five-year career with the Jets
