JUNIOR (2000)
Played in seven games, all starts, before sustaining a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his knee against Missouri ... the injury snapped his string of 21 consecutive starts ... named the team's Most Outstanding Tight End ... registered at least one catch in all seven games before the injury ... tied his career-high with 17 receptions for a career-best 199 yards ... had his best game as a Longhorn when he set career single-game highs for receptions (six) and receiving yards (102) at Colorado ... he became only the fourth TE in school history to surpass 100 receiving yards in a game and the first since Kerry Cash had 104 yards at Texas Tech in 1990 ... named UT's Offensive Player of the Week following his effort against the Buffs ... hauled in three passes for 36 yards at Stanford ... added three catches for 23 yards against No. 10 Oklahoma ... caught a pair of passes for 13 yards against Oklahoma State.
