Appeared in 12 games, including the Holiday Bowl, as UT's primary kickoff returner and a reserve tailback ... ranked second on UT's single season kickoff return chart with 495 yards ... led the Big 12 and ranked 12th nationally with a 24.8-yard kickoff return average ... returned a third-quarter kickoff 93 yards for a TD against No. 8 Oregon in the Holiday Bowl and became the first Longhorn to return a kickoff for a TD since Johnny "Lam" Jones vs. SMU on Oct. 28, 1978 (265-game span) ... returned three kicks for 130 yards (43.3 ypr) in that game ... had a then career-long 81-yard return against No. 10 Oklahoma, which was at the time the longest by a Longhorn since 1990 ... returned four kicks for an average of 32.8 yards (131 yards) against the Sooners, which is the second-best single-game average in school history ... posted a 43-yard kickoff return at Colorado and was named UT's Special Teams Player of the Week ... third on the team with 156 rushing yards on 36 attempts ... second on the squad with four rushing TDs ... also caught two passes for 51 yards, including a 38-yard TD at Stanford ... posted three games of 40 or more rushing yards (46 vs. Baylor; 42 vs. UL-Lafayette; 40 at Kansas) ... also scored TDs in each of those three contests ... added a 1-yard TD run against Houston.

Saw action in 11 games, including the Cotton Bowl, at running back and on special teams ... was the team's second-leading rusher (274 yards) ... his five rushing touchdowns were tied for fifth on the UT single-season rushing TDs by a freshman chart ... posted career highs in carries (17) and rushing yards (94) at Rutgers ... scored on a career-long 30-yard TD run in that game ... registered a career-high 159 all-purpose yards (94 rushing/65 returns) vs. Rutgers ... showed his breakaway ability on an 80-yard TD reception vs. N.C.
