Grew up in Austin, Texas before moving to Lago Vista for high school...son of John and Sandra...has two brothers, Derek and Dakota...father, John Haines, played defensive end at Texas (1980-83)...after Texas, his father played in the NFL with the Indianapolis Colts and Minnesota Vikings...mother, Sandra, ran track and field at Texas (1976-78) ... brother, Dakota, walked on to the football team and plays wide receiver for the scout team....two-year member of National Honor Society...majoring in business...enjoys golfing and playing the piano.
