Series vs. UT Arlington
• Saturday will mark the eighth meeting between UT Arlington and Texas. The Longhorns have won all seven meetings in the series that dates back to 1990. All games have been played at the Erwin Center.
• Rick Barnes is 6-0 against UT Arlington.
• It is the second consecutive year that the teams have meet in the Erwin Center. Last season, the Longhorns defeated the Mavericks, 80-62, behind 23 points from Sheldon McClellan.
• The teams had a string of five consecutive meetings in Austin, from the 2002-03 to 2006-07 seasons.
Lone Star State Success
• Since Rick Barnes arrived in Austin in 1998, the Longhorns have emerged as the dominant college basketball program in the state of Texas.
• The Horns have posted a 121-17 (.877) record against in-state foes during the Barnes era entering Saturday's contest, including marks of 26-6 against Baylor, 23-7 against Texas A&M and 27-3 against Texas Tech.
Non-Conference Home Success
• Since the start of the 2002-03 season, the Longhorns have posted an 84-3 (.965) mark in non-conference home games.
• Texas enters Saturday's contest with a streak of 12 consecutive victories in non-conference home games. The last time the Horns lost a non-conference contest at the Erwin Center came in an 82-81 overtime defeat to No. 8 Connecticut on Jan. 8, 2011.
• Since the start of the 2002-03 season, Texas has posted an 80-2 (.975) mark in non-conference home games against unranked (AP) opponents.
• Texas enters Saturday's contest with a streak of 37 consecutive victories in non-conference home games against unranked (AP) opponents. The last time the Horns lost a non-conference contest at the Erwin Center to an unranked (AP) opponent came in a 67-66 defeat to Wisconsin on Dec. 29, 2007.
