T.J. Ford hosts Celebrity Bowl-a-Thon in Houston on July 11

HOUSTON -- Former University of Texas star and current Indiana Pacers guard T.J. Ford will host the First Annual T.J. Ford Celebrity Bowl-a-Thon benefitting Houston Children's Charity on Saturday, July 11. The "Strikes for a Cause" event is scheduled to run from 6-9 p.m. at 300 Houston Bowling Center, located at 925 Bunker Hill Road. Celebrity bowlers who are scheduled to appear include: Joseph Addai, LaMarcus Aldridge, D.J. Augustin, Texas Basketball Head Coach Rick Barnes, Glen Davis, Kevin Durant, Daniel Gibson, Royal Ivey, Damon Jones, Kendrick Perkins, Shaun Rogers, Bobby Simmons, Maurice Taylor, Tyrus Thomas, Nick Van Exel and Chris Wilcox. Tickets are priced at $1,000 per lane or $250 per individual. There will be four players per lane and one celebrity guest per two lanes.
