2013 Phillips 66 Big 12 Men's Basketball Championship Bracket IRVING, Texas - The pairings for the 2013 Phillips 66 Big 12 Men's Basketball Championship have been set, conference officials announced Saturday evening. Texas (15-16, 7-11 Big 12) is the No. 7 seed in the tournament and will open play in a first-round contest on Wednesday, March 13 at approximately 8:30 p.m. (Central) against No. 10 seed TCU (11-20, 2-16 Big 12). Should Texas win its first-round contest, the Longhorns would advance to play in the quarterfinal round on Thursday, March 14 against No. 2 seed Kansas State (26-5, 14-4 Big 12) at 6 p.m. (Central). Semifinal-round contests are set for Friday, March 15 at 6 and approximately 8:30 p.m. (Central), while the tournament championship game is slated for Saturday, March 16 at 5 p.m. (Central). UT's first-round game against TCU on Wednesday night will be televised regionally by the Big 12 Network. Check www.TexasSports.com for a listing of affiliates that will carry the Texas-TCU contest. All tournament games will be played at the Sprint Center in Kansas City. The entire Phillips 66 Big 12 Men's Basketball Championship also will be televised either regionally or nationally by the Big 12 Network, ESPN, ESPN2 or ESPNU. All games will be carried on WatchESPN, with most also available via ESPN Full Court.
