2010 Phillips 66 Big 12 Championship bracket IRVING, Texas -- The pairings for the 2010 Phillips 66 Big 12 Men's Basketball Championship have been set, conference officials announced Saturday evening. Texas (23-8, 9-7 Big 12) is the No. 6 seed in the tournament and will face No. 11 seed Iowa State in the first round on Wednesday, March 10 at approximately 8:30 p.m. (Central). Should Texas win its opening-round game against Iowa State, the Longhorns would advance to play No. 3 seed Baylor in the quarterfinal round on Thursday, March 11 at approximately 8:30 p.m. (Central). Semifinal round play is scheduled for Friday, March 12, while the championship game is slated for Saturday, March 13 at 5 p.m. (Central). All tournament games will be played at the Sprint Center in Kansas City. The entire Phillips 66 Big 12 Men's Basketball Championship also will be televised either regionally or nationally by the Big 12 Network, ESPN or ESPN2.
