Monday's game marks the final home collegiate contest for a pair of fourth-year seniors: Andrew Dick and Dean Melchionni. There will be a short pregame ceremony beginning at approximately 7:45 p.m. to honor the duo.
Texas is 11-3 in regular season home finales during the Rick Barnes era.
The Longhorns will make its third appearance of the season on ESPN's Big Monday against Baylor. UT holds a 15-6 mark in Big Monday home contests entering Monday's game. Nine of the 15 victories have come against AP Top 25 opposition.
Texas leads the all-time series with Baylor, 157-82, including a 26-7 mark during the Rick Barnes era. The Bears won the first meeting this season, 86-79, in overtime on Jan. 5 to open Big 12 play. Baylor is UT's most common opponent, playing for the 240th time on Monday.
The Longhorns have posted a 127-18 (.876) record against in-state foes during the Barnes era entering Monday's contest, including a 26-7 mark against Baylor.
Since Myck Kabongo returned to the lineup six games ago, UT has posted a 3-3 record, with all three defeats coming against ranked opponents. Kabongo leads the team in scoring (16.7 ppg), assists (5.0 apg), steals (nine) and minutes (36.8 mpg).
Julien Lewis came off the bench to lead Texas in scoring for the sixth time this season with 15 points at Oklahoma State on Saturday.
